The 2 1/2 room vacation suite with valuable medieval wall paintings is situated in the Niederburg, the oldest quarter of Constance, in midst of a pictorial narrow alleys that have not changed since 13th Century. In the structure is said to have been the first city hall of the citizenry of Constance during the time of 1220 - 1260 A.D. During the Council of Constance, 1414 - 1418, the Archbishop of Magdeburg and his suffraganes of Meersburg, Brandenburg, and Meissen with 36 people and horses resided in the house. All attractions as well as shops, pharmacies, bakeries etc. can be reached comfortably by foot. City busses leave every 15 minutes in all directions and are centrally located within two minutes walking distance. The German-Swiss railway station can also be reached within five minutes by foot.
